Fun with Fiber Arts Camp

Fun with Fiber Arts summer camp at Simsbury Yarns is a colorful, hands-on adventure where creativity comes to life through yarn and imagination. Designed especially for young makers, the camp introduces children to fun and approachable crafts like weaving, wet felting, and beginner knitting, crochet, and more - all in a playful, supportive environment. Each day is filled with engaging projects that spark curiosity and build confidence. Campers will create and use their own mini looms, design a wet-felted project, and learn to knit and crochet a simple piece. Instructors break down techniques into easy, kid-friendly steps, encouraging experimentation and celebrating every creation. At the end of camp, kids will show off and explain the creative process for at least one of their handmade treasures at a fiber arts showcase.
